Shatta Wale has been in the headlines over the past few weeks for various reasons, including allegedly taking production credit for songs created by some music producers and the seizure of his yellow 2019 Lamborghini by the EOCO.
Currently, the dancehall musician is making the headlines again, this time for acquiring a new purple 2019 Lamborghini Urus after the EOCO seized his previous one over claims that it was linked to a major fraud case in the United States.
The “On God” hitmaker has caused a stir online after a video of him popping champagne and sitting in the purple luxury vehicle went viral.
In the video, Shatta Wale urged Ghanaian musicians to work hard so they too can afford such luxuries.
“If Ghanaian musicians work hard, they should work hard so we all can survive like this. Sometimes when you doubt me, you make me feel bad,” he said.
Shatta Wale added that he acquired his wealth through hard work and by remaining consistent in the music industry for 25 years.
He also encouraged creatives to believe in their craft, with the hope that their dreams will eventually come true.
“It has all been about hard work. I have been in the industry for more than 25 years of hustling and working like this. So, I appreciate everybody who has been supporting Shatta Movement.
“Let’s support each other and live a good life. I love you guys, and shout out to everybody who believes in the music spirit. You can do it because if I can do it, you can also do it,” he added.
